Fast-Track Manufacturing of Polyurethane Piggyback Components for Subsea Pipeline – Delivered in 11 Weeks at Lower Cost

EUREKA EFEKTIF was engaged to OEM manufacture piggyback components for a subsea pipeline pigging system under urgent operational requirements. While typical industry lead times are around four months, EUREKA EFEKTIF delivered the components within 11 weeks at a more competitive cost by leveraging its in-house polyurethane engineering and manufacturing capabilities, helping the client maintain its operational schedule.

Subsea piggyback clamps require high dimensional accuracy and durable materials suitable for subsea operating conditions. In addition, the client required a significantly shorter delivery timeline, as typical overseas suppliers require around four months to complete similar orders.

EUREKA EFEKTIF produced the clamps using patented polyurethane material, which has previously been deployed in subsea environments. To ensure precision, a new mould was machined from a solid metal block using CNC, enabling accurate mould dimensions and improved product quality.

The piggyback clamps were successfully delivered within 11 weeks, significantly faster than the typical four-month lead time from other suppliers.
