Fast-Track Manufacturing of Polyurethane Piggyback Components Delivered in 11 Weeks at Lower Cost

EUREKA EFEKTIF recently completed the OEM manufacturing of polyurethane piggyback components for a subsea pipeline pigging system, delivering the components in just 11 weeks, significantly faster than the typical four-month industry lead time.

The project was initiated under urgent operational requirements, where the client required a rapid manufacturing solution to support ongoing subsea pipeline activities. Leveraging its in-house polyurethane engineering and manufacturing capabilities, EUREKA EFEKTIF successfully produced the components within the required timeline while also providing the solution at a more competitive cost.

To ensure the required performance and dimensional accuracy, the piggyback clamps were manufactured using patented polyurethane material, which has previously been deployed in subsea environments. In addition, a new CNC-machined mould fabricated from a solid metal block was developed to ensure precise mould dimensions and improved product quality.

The successful delivery demonstrates EUREKA EFEKTIF’s capability to support pipeline operators with fast-track manufacturing of polyurethane pigging components, particularly for projects requiring short lead times, cost efficiency, and reliable subsea performance.
