After a whole year of fretting over stalled pigs issue, a client in Central Asia reached out to Eureka Efektif for help. The problem? A cleaning pig for standard pigging operations failed to arrive for a 12″ x 73km pipeline. The initial rescue method worsened when both the stalled cleaning pig and the rescue pig didn’t make it to the receiver. It was speculated that both pigs had become tangled and lodged in the pipeline, hence their inability to be propelled. We dispatched our team of experts to conduct a thorough analysis and to brainstorm on a solution. We are proud to say that both pigs were rescued (see image above)! Initially moving at a snail-like pace, productivity quadrupled after our assistance. Needless to say, the client was extremely content.
